Finally, a flag that looks as good as your brick, stone, or stucco mailbox!

What are the dimensions of the flip-flag?  When the arm is raised, the flag is 1 1/2 x 5/8 x 5 3/8 inches high (3.8 x 1.6 x 13.7 cm high).  With the arm in the down position, the flag is 1 1/2 x 5/8 x 3 1/8 inches high (3.8 x 1.6 x 7.9 cm high).

How do I mount the flip-flag?  For maximum bond strength, outside temperature should be at least 50 deg F (10 deg C) when mounting.
1.  Determine mounting location.  Generally, your flag should be mounted on a flat, smooth area on the right or left side of the door, about 1/2 inch from the bottom.
2.  Clean this area with isopropyl alcohol or window cleaner.  Surface must be clean and dry.
3.  Remove the protective backing strip.
4.  Carefully position the flip-flag, press firmly into place, and hold for about 15 seconds.
That's it!

How strong is the mounting tape?  We use a closed-cell urethane foam tape with an acrylic adhesive made by one of the leading manufacturers of industrial  tapes.  It's designed for extreme outdoor conditions.  It has excellent weather resistance and has a temperature range of -20 to +160 deg F (-29 to 71 deg C).

What is the flip-flag made of?  The base is made of a black thermoplastic resin called ABS.  It's known for toughness and high strength.  Common uses for ABS include auto body parts, protective head gear, and toys.  The arm is made of a red acrylic resin with outstanding weatherability, high impact resistance, and transparency.  Uses for acrylic include skylights, safety windows, and display cases.

Will the wind blow the flag down?  The flip-flag was invented in Oklahoma, where strong winds are common.  We tested many shapes before finalizing the design.  Wind gusts up to 50 mph are no problem.
